The Ironbound Community Corporation (ICC), in keeping with its long-standing tradition to advocate for justice, equity and compassion, stands in solidarity with the immigrant community. The recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in Newark – begun in the Ironbound (similar to January 2017), have sown fear and uncertainty among community members. These actions disrupt the lives of countless families and undermine the safety, stability, and cohesion of the community.

As we plan for the future, we recognize the importance of meeting community members in their homes to provide services, especially as many are apprehensive about venturing out. We are implementing a comprehensive strategy to address the needs of Newark’s undocumented community AND WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
